A few photographs from a lovely shoot (on a lousy day!) at Corbould Racecourse, Caloundra. Ducking in and out of rain showers, we got some lovely photographs, and the dresses worn by Gemma & Bek were designed by Gemma - how great is that? A designer that's also a fantastic model! Afterwards, it was back to the studio for a quick studio session. Thanks to Heather at Tan Addiction Unisex Tanning & Glamour Studio for the fabulous makeup!

Well, the end of an exhausting but satisfying day at Level Eleven! Our model Pippa arrived at 10 this morning, and we eventually finished taking photos at 5 and it was full on all day. A million thanks to Heather from Tan Addiction for the amazing make-up, and to Nicky from Iconik Hairdressing for Pippa's stunning bouffant hairstyle....it looked incredible (reminded me a bit of Joanna Lumley in Ab Fab!) and matched the dresses so well. Now - the dresses! Thanks to Helen and the team at f.rock fashions, who have just relocated from Ormuz Avanue to a very cool location right on the seafront at Caloundra. They were kind enough to provide us the beautiful outfits you see here, and once Emma had accessorised them...they just worked so well for the shoot.

You absolutely can't pull off shoots like this without the right team around you - and today was a real step in the right direction. I honestly can't thank you all enough and hope you enjoy the images as much as we enjoyed making them. 

Congratulations to Heather and all at Tan Addiction! Heather's right opposite us in The Strand and often does the make-up  for our clients who are coming in for portrait sessions, so we were delighted when she told us that she'd won the runner-up place in the Queensland region 'Australian Bridal Industry Acadamy' awards.  The voting is done by clients and she wasn't even aware she'd been entered for it - so it says a hell of a lot for how her clients rave about her that she made it as a finalist!

As she now has to submit some pictures for her publicity....it was her turn in front of the camera, so we nipped across The Strand with a camera and a light to take a few pictures of her.  

I met Amy and Luke when I photographed Amy's sisters wedding on North Stradbroke Island last year - then a couple of months later, I photographed them again at the UK blessing, where we took the whole bridal party off to a Castle for a shoot. Ah, the blessed life of the jet-setting photographer - lol!

Amy was kind enough to do me a favour a while back and I really wanted to photograph her and Luke so we organised a time and they travelled up from Brisbane to our studio in Caloundra. After a studio session, we headed out and just caught the last sunshine. Great fun and a great session with two fantastic - and willing! - models. Thanks again to you both - here's a few early favourites, a difficult call as there were dozens of great pictures!

Last saturday saw my assistant Lisa and myself rushing into the hinterland, then down the beach with Amanda, Brad & their bridal party - then onto Mooloolabah Yacht Club for their wedding in the park overlooking the river.

We were like a blur all day, I honestly don't know how Amanda still looked so beautiful as her proud dad lead her to the ceremony! By then, I was a mess - I suspect some excellent bridesmaids were the reason Amanda still looked great!

Brad and the boys were in very sensible waistcoats - no jackets - and as their role had been to look cool and moody all day, they'd bared up well!

So - here's a few favourites from a hard but really enjoyable day with a great group!

With their wedding just a few weeks away, it was time........something Mitchell's been dreading! A pre-wedding shoot at Point Cartright was just what he needed to make sure he's not nervous on the day (at least, not about having his picture taken!)
